Nestled in the foothills of the breathtaking Great Smokey Mountains lies Historic Limestone, TN.

Situated on eight acres is a piece of history that has been re-imagined into a state of the art wedding venue, all while still respecting and preserving the history of the land. Located directly behind the Old Pilot Hill General Store, which was originally built in 1902, is The Alpaca Mountain Event Center.

When the current owner purchased the land and accompanying buildings surrounding the Old General Store, it was immediately decided to preserve a piece of the history surrounding it. While we completely renovated and updated the barn, we did so with materials honoring its past. Inside the venue, you will find we used materials similar those used in times past.

Once you enter our property, you will be greeted by over 25 Alpacas.

While they are very quick to come investigate a new friend, they typically keep their distance and avoid contact. With every rule, there is an exception. Splash is a Blue Ribbon winning Alpaca, who is always happy to meet new guests, and can frequently be seen standing up to say hi. Throughout his career in showbiz, he racked up multiple blue ribbons. He comes running up to the fence to inspect new guests and give them his seal of approval.

With 5,600 sq. ft. inside a two level barn and a 2,800 sq. ft. covered concrete patio, this venue can play host to any and all of your dreams.

While retaining a rustic historic feel, you are also greeted with the most modern amenities. Our venue is heated and cooled with four Commercial HVAC systems upstairs and seven additional personal units downstairs. With private dressing rooms and areas for Brides, Grooms, and guests, you can maintain your privacy while preparing for the big moment. We offer multiple picturesque spots throughout the property for an outdoor service. All of these spots offer a gorgeous mountain view.
